The Kids Are Alive

Nairobi National Museum Amphitheatre
Organized by MADFUN!

Join Gufy Dox for the unveiling of his latest studio album, The Kids Are Alive—a bold expansion of his artistry beyond the stage into a recorded body of work. This project fuses poetry and music, weaving rhythm, voice, and sound design into a powerful tapestry that captures the urgency of protest, the depth of introspection, and the tenderness of healing.

The Kids Are Alive is more than an album—it is both a personal archive and a collective call to action. Through its verses and melodies, Gufy invites us to reflect on love, childhood, loss, politics, and protest, offering a moving exploration of identity and transformation.Adding to the magic of the night, expect surprise guest artist performances across both days—each one bringing new energy and perspective to the stage.

This will not be an event to miss. Experience this work brought to life in an unforgettable two-night concert at the Nairobi National Museum Amphitheatre, where words and music converge to remind us: the kids are alive, and so are we.

“Jogoo Wa Shamba Wawika Mjini” hit different. It nailed the shags-meets-city vibe installations that make you think about where you’re from vs where you are. Layers, textures, and real cultural depth. Worth the visit if you appreciate art that speaks to the Kenyan experience. Highly recommend! 🎨
