All the songs I write carry a story that I hope will resonate with at least one person. Since I released my second album ‘Dusk to Dawn’ in July, the stories you have shared with me pale kwa DMs and in person about these songs have really really moved me and kept me going. You have no idea.

So for this year’s edition of Uani, I would love for us to sit and share in what this music has meant to us; from my fellow delulus who love ‘chizi’ to the one’s who have cried along to ‘Ero Awerni’ and ‘A mourner’s cry’.. from the one’s who’ve fallen in love to ‘Ilomba’ and ‘Nitakua na wewe’ to the one’s who’ve nursed their broken hearts through ‘6 years’. Trust me, I am all of you.
