On this ambitious East African Challenge, we will take the Timau route making our way across different microclimates and landscapes including heathland, forest, pristine mountain, moorland grass and snow with an eye-popping chance of spotting mountain wildlife.
We will plumb the depths of our endurance skill in land and water activities spending a day at an army adventure training camp in the heart of Ngare Ndare Forest following in the footsteps of over 30,000 British Army and Royal Air Force personnel. Day 8 will see us working the hardest part of the trek – culminating in a sub-zero hike to a glacial summit.
