Voices For A Change

Voices for a Change is an intimate community evening dedicated to conversation, awareness and action in support of Agatha Amani House, a Kenyan organisation providing a safe home and support to women and children affected by sexual and domestic violence. The evening will explore the realities faced by women and children affected by violence, the work of Agatha Amani House, and practical ways individuals and communities can contribute through education, volunteering, partnerships and financial support. The programme will include: Welcome & Introduction – An introduction to the evening and to Agatha Amani House. The Reality on the Ground – Understanding the realities faced by women and children affected by sexual and domestic violence in Kenya. From Shelter to Self-Sufficiency – How Agatha Amani House supports women through safety, healing, skills development and pathways towards independence. From Awareness to Action – Practical ways to get involved and support the organisation’s work. Closing & Next Steps – Key takeaways and ways to stay involved.
