What We Carry follows Kendi, a young performer chasing the dream she has had since childhood; to become a singer. Moving through auditions, performances, survival jobs, and constant work, she appears to be building the life she once imagined. But beneath the motion, something unresolved lingers.The story explores the invisible systems we survive inside and the cost of constantly pushing forward without ever fully stopping to confront what lives underneath.
