Workshop: Living Textiles Lab Prototyping Responsive Fashion Futures

An intensive lab for fashion creatives exploring how tech—touch, light, colour-change and AI—can make garments interactive and expressive.

An intensive, design-led lab for fashion creatives interested in how garments can become further interactive, responsive and expressive through the integration of technology. Participants will be introduced to emerging fashion-tech possibilities including touch-responsive textiles, movement, light, colour-change materials, microcontrollers and AI-triggered interactions, with a focus on how these ideas can be applied to future collections, performance, storytelling, sustainability and creative business.

Participants will leave with a practical understanding of how technology can expand their fashion practice whilst being a tool for interaction, communication and experimentation.
